Meeting a Nook Farm Neighbor: Harriet Beecher Stowe
Today the Twain Studio Apprentices toured the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center. The author of Uncle Tom’s Cabin lived next door to Mark Twain in Hartford’s Nook Farm neighborhood. Only one of the apprentices had ever been inside Stowe’s house before.
